The last day of the Intensive course is Friday 23/10.

Years 3-4
English: We will be looking at Simple Past Tense and telling stories. We shall look at the differences in verbs between present and past forms.
Maths: We will look into the introduction to multiplication and division.
Science: We shall learn to tell the time.
ICT: We shall revise the Scratch Jr. commands we learnt previously and learn the function of the 'change page' and 'recorder' buttons.
Phonics: ch, sh, th,ng.

English:  We shall start looking into past simple tense.
Maths: We will learn to add and subtract 3-digit and 2 digit numbers.
Science: We shall learn parts of a flower.
ICT: We shall introduce new blocks (repeat, repeat forever and speed) into our programming and learn how they are used.
Phonics: qu and revision of all phase 2 sounds and tricky words.

Years 5-6
English - Food (shopping, restaurants and cafes)
Maths - Word problems (including shopping receipts and restaurant/cafe bills)
Science - Where does our food come from?
ICT - Scratch 
Art - Create a cafe environment
Phonics - -ck words

English: We will be looking at how to use 'can' to express ability, using adjectives, singular/plural nouns and asking questions with have/has got.
Maths: We will practise the language of addition.
Science: We shall look at a dialogue and what to say at the doctor's.
ICT: We shall introduce new blocks (jump, go home, reset size, turn clockwise and anticlockwise) into our programming.
Phonics: c,k,ck,e,u, r- revision and new sounds: h,b, f/ff, l/ll.

English: We will be looking at classroom vocabulary, prepositions of place, present continuous tense to say what we are doing.
Maths: We will practise numbers 1-100 and vocabulary to help us compare numbers.
Science: We shall look at the parts of the body and learn to name them.
ICT:  We will start learning how to use simple computer commands for movement and testing them on bee-bots.
Phonics: sounds: s,a,t,p,i,n.

Friday is International Day!

English: there was/ there wasn't, past simple tense, past tense verbs, stories- feeding squirrels, there was a princess
Maths: measuring length- estimate, introduce length-units of length- mm, cm, m , introduce time (what time is it?)
Phonics: sounds- f, ff, l
 
Years 3-4
English: We will be looking at Simple Past Tense and telling stories. We shall look at the differences in verbs between present and past forms.
Maths: We will learn how to tell the time in English.
Science: We shall look learn how to use coordinates in geography and describe where places are on a map.
ICT: We shall revise the Scratch Jr. commands we learnt previously and learn the function of the 'change page' and 'recorder' buttons.
Phonics: ch, sh, th,ng.
